A little about 'Running For Ro'
In the spring of 2013 our sweet Rowan was diagnosed with Bilateral Perisylvian Polymicrogyria, a rare brain malformation. Placing us on a journey we never ever dreamed of. There are a great deal of unknowns, but grace, God’s grace.
We began physically ‘Running for Ro’ last year and quickly realized this journey is so much bigger than our one foot in front of the other. Running for Ro represents a celebration of how God is transforming our fear and sorrow to trust and joy.
His plans are greater, even when we don’t understand. It’s also a celebration of gratitude for all the very simple things that we take for granted everyday. God has used Rowan to bring an awareness that we never had before. Thank you Jesus for the very steps I take. Thank you Jesus that I was able to sit upright independently at the dinner table tonight.
Thank you Jesus that I can simply chew a single bite of food. Running for Ro is also a hope and belief in all Rowan has/will overcome, and for her very own steps one day. Only by His grace.
Please join us on this journey of hope and gratefulness!
With every shirt purchased $5 will be donated to The gROw Fund, a fund started in honor of Rowan to help other special needs families and kiddos in our community by purchasing the medical supplies or equipment those children need to thrive and gROw.
When you receive your shirt don’t forget to take a pic and shout some love on social media with the hashtag runningforro [#runningforro]
